Children and Disc Degeneration

Kids can suffer from disc degeneration. A 2003 British study found that one in 10 children show signs of asymptomatic disc degeneration. This was assessed with the use of MRI scans. The study author commented that this was a surprise, as previous thinking was that disc degeneration occurred after puberty.
