Katherine Lucht, DC
Dr. Lucht grew up in the small town community of Reedsburg, Wisconsin but recently relocated to North Carolina so she could be closer to friends after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in June 2018.
During her undergraduate studies at UW-River Falls she studied animal science with an emphasis on equine and veterinary technology and later became a large animal veterinary technician. While she greatly enjoyed working with animals she just didn't feel satisfied or fulfilled and desired to continue her education.
After falling off a horse during a jumping lesson, Dr. Lucht initially sought chiropractic care as an alternative approach to traditional pain medication. Additionally, routine chiropractic care enabled her to remain pain free while working as a veterinary technician, as the job regularly placed her in positions that did not allow her to protect her back from injuries.
During chiropractic school, Dr. Lucht developed a love for working with children after volunteering in the Awana program. This lead her to become Webster technique certified and currently she is working on her post-graduate studies in pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
Dr. Lucht's goal is help each person realize their full potential and see the value of ' true health.' Every individual is uniquely different, and as such, no treatment plan is the same. She utilizes Diversified, Gonstead, and Activator techniques. Dr. Lucht looks forward to getting involved in the local community and serving the whole family from babies and pregnant women to geriatrics.
When not in the office she enjoys working on DIY projects around the house including anything from furniture to Christmas ornaments or spending time outside riding her two horses Ellie and Pride. She is also the proud aunt of two nephews Cason and Samuel.
